- Experience with object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks
- Professional experience with PHP development
- Experience with Wordpress customizations
- Some familiarity with the Ruby language
- Experience with JQuery, Prototype and/or Mootools (Know how to implement event handling, DOM traversal and to enable AJAX)
- Ability to write clean, valid HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with source-control and issue tracking software
- Experience with application deployment in a Linux environment
- Experience with short-duration projects: 1 week to 6 months
BONUS POINTS:
- Professional experience with Ruby on Rails (Ability to create a new Rails app from scratch, configure and deploy to multiple environments)
- Professional experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

Web Designer Needed
FOR WHAT:
Full-time, on-site web design position. The position requires both graphic design and HTML/CSS skills (see requirements below). You’ll work with us to sculpt user experiences, creating and producing web sites and online application interfaces.

- 3+ years experience with both the graphic design and XHTML/CSS build portions of a web project
- Ability to conceptualize and implement designs for dynamic and static pages
- Experience with grid-based design
- Strong typography skills
- Standards-compliant XHTML and CSS (hand-coded, not dependent on Dreamweaver/GoLive/etc.)
- Illustrator, Photoshop
- Flash + ActionScript
- Javascript a big plus (from scratch and using existing libraries)
- Basic familiarity with web programming
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and on a team
- Eagerness to share ideas and problem-solve creatively
- Loves learning new things
- Likes pigeons
